We're heading back to Comic-Con 2026 for a bonus episode featuring a few conversations that didn't make it into our full discussion of Marvel's biggest announcements.

First up is Blade Runner 2099, the upcoming series continuing the world of Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049. Paul and Patrick discuss where the series fits into the larger franchise, its connections to the lore established across the films and animated shorts, the cast, and why Blade Runner has continued to find new life despite never being a traditional box office powerhouse.

From there, we turn to Apple's upcoming adaptation of William Gibson's Neuromancer and the challenges of bringing one of cyberpunk's most influential novels to the screen. That leads us into a larger question: Can genuinely punk rock storytelling still exist within the current Hollywood system?
