Sometimes we head into an episode with one topic in mind. This wasn't one of those times.

Patrick and Dan sit down for a wide-ranging Movie Catch-Up covering what they've been watching, what's coming next, and quite a bit in between. We talk Eli Roth and The Ice Cream Man, Fede Álvarez and Alien: Romulus, the quality of Netflix's output, our latest trips to the theater, including The Odyssey, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Insidious: Out of the Further, and Guy Ritchie's In the Grey.

We also revisit some Michael Bay classics including The Rock and Armageddon to the Bad Boys movies, which leads into a larger conversation about movie soundtracks and how much they can become part of a film's identity.

From there, we remember Tim Curry and spend some time looking back at a career that stretched across The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Clue, IT, Legend, Muppet Treasure Island, Home Alone 2, and plenty more. We wrap things up with some of the movies we're looking forward to, extended cuts and trilogies, Supergirl, James Gunn, Andy Muschietti, and Zach Cregger's upcoming Resident Evil.
