Cursed Objects are one of the most popular horror tropes in cinema, television, and literature, yet, somehow, the sub-genre isn’t as well-known by its name. In this episode, we talk about what the Cursed Object sub-genre is and what some of our favorite movies and shows within it are. From there, we dive into the most recent Cursed Object feature, The Monkey, written and directed by Osgood Perkins based on the Stephen King short story. We also include a short discussion on our favorite King adaptations.
From there, we jump into the news, featuring most updates on Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, the latest Amazon and James Bond news, and some recent comic book movie updates out of Marvel and DC.
We finish off the episode with our Physical Media Showcase segment, this week featuring the Final Destination DVD, as well as the release of our March Episode Schedule.
